Andrew Keir

Andrew Keir trained as a concert pianist and accompanist at the Royal Northern
College of Music, where he won all the major awards for vocal coaching.

He subsequently accompanied at all the major UK classical singing competitions and
recitals before diversifying into musical theatre.
Andrew has since worked on West End, UK and international touring productions of
The Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables, Oliver!, Joseph and the Amazing
Technicolor Dreamcoat, Grease, Dr Dolittle and has also toured with Northern Ballet
Theatre.

In addition, he has worked as rehearsal and audition pianist for The Really Useful
Group and Cameron Mackintosh Ltd. Andrew has lectured in musical theatre and been Musical Director and Vocal Coach
at The Academy of Live and Recorded Arts London, City College Manchester,
Stagecoach Theatre Arts, The Hammond School, Liverpool Theatre School, Phil
Winston’s Theatreworks, Steelworks Performing Arts and Rare Studios Liverpool.

In 2009, Andrew was invited to join the board of examiners at The London Academy
of Music and Dramatic Art and now examines for LAMDA throughout the UK.
Andrew directs 4 choirs for Magic Voices and is in demand as a festival adjudicator.
Andrew also has a degree in law.
