Thank you so much for giving your "all" in your sessions this week - you were magnificent and rose to the challenge.
Arrangements for your performance at Bollington are as follows:
DATE AND TIME - MONDAY 27TH MAY 12.15 - 1.15 PM. PLEASE BE THERE FOR 11.45AM.
LOCATION - BOLLINGTON RECREATION GROUND, ADLINGTON ROAD, BOLLINGTON, SK10 5JT
EVENT - BOLLINGTON FESTIVAL DIAMOND JUBILEE JAMBOREE
PARKING
some reserved spaces for performers at Adelphi Mill, Grimshaw Lane SK10 5JB, 13 minutes walk from the venue.
Also, Tullis Russell, another local business on Church St, has offered their car park at SK10 5QD
Clough Bank Car Park SK10 5NY, near Adelphi Lane
Otherwise, parking on side streets near the venue, or other car parks. You won't be able to park on the recreation ground itself. Please bear in mind when travelling that it's a bank holiday, which means that there could be more traffic than usual, or less! Also, there are roadworks and delays at Monks Heath (A537/A34) crossroads. Please try and lift share where possible.
DRESS CODE - usual please. LADIES - mainly black with red accessories. GENTS - white shirts, black trousers, red ties/bowties. Please dress according to the weather.
We will be performing on a raised stage area under cover, and there will be a dressing room/tent with some refreshments available.
IMPORTANT - THERE WILL NOT BE ANY SEATING, SO PLEASE BE PREPARED TO STAND FOR THE FULL HOUR.

As always, please make sure you have all the music and it is in the right order (preferably in black folders) - nothing looks worse than people sharing music and there is absolutely no reason why anyone should.
Please don't talk between songs (Chris Lord will be acting as compere) or, God forbid, during the intros!
I always say at these events, please stand in the same positions you stand in at choir (people who stand at the back in rehearsals shouldn't suddenly rush to the front!). Obviously, there will have to be some leeway here as there are 2 choirs performing together, so please try to be accomodating and thoughtful with each other. I will not be putting you into positions, so please sort yourselves out as quickly, amicably and quietly as possible, as there is a very short turnaround between acts performing. It's commonsense that, if you are not sure of all the music, please don't stand at the front! We are amateur choirs, but I always like you to look as professional as possible. I will have my hands full dealing with the sound technicians, so please try not to bother me with questions!
