Hi Chorleyans
You will have already had an email from Mike with timings for Sunday. This is just to confirm what to wear, although many of you will know the drill by now.
GENTS - white shirt, black trousers, red bow tie/tie (tight underpants for the high notes!)
LADIES - black with red accessories/splash of red, as formal, fancy and long as you like!
Those of you using folders for your music, please make sure they are black ones.
I will have set out the seats by the time you arrive. Please don't sit on the front row if you don't sit on the front row at rehearsals - unless there is a dearth of front row members taking part (possibly front row lows), in which case please move forward. Gents, you will be joined by 4 Appleton men who are there to swell the ranks and help with volume and harmonies. Please make them welcome - they are there to help.
I will be standing on the stage with you - lesson learned from last time!
We will also have a sound technician there too, Luke, who will be placing mics, so please watch out for wires.
As always, please don't talk between songs or during speeches and musical intros - the mics will pick it up, and it looks bad!
I think that's about it - any questions, ask me tonight.
See you later.
Andrew x
