CHORLEY PROGRAMME 12.6.25

Hi Chorleyans

Hope you've had a good half term (if you've had a break, that is!). I am sure you will have recovered from your concert by now, and that you will know that the bucket shake collected £638 for Derian House! So thank you to all your friends and family for contributing to that. It was a really memorable evening, and I was so proud to be your conductor.

Now we can relax a bit and learn some new stuff, because next term you have concerts galore!

Next week's programme looks like this:

CALAMITY JANE - one final sing through from start to finish to bring back a few concert memories - rarely has a medley gone down SO well with all my choirs!

****NEW SONG ALERT****

YOU WILL BE FOUND - this is from the Broadway musical,  Dear Evan Hansen, and has gone down a storm with my other choirs - it's a really beautiful piece of music

****NEW SONG ALERT****

ANTHEM - this is a song from Chess, written by the Abba boys in the 1980s, after the group split and they decided to have a go at musical theatre. It's a wonderful song with an inspiring message. Hope you enjoy it. Gents, even though there are separate baritone and tenor parts on the website, they are both the same.

BEATLES MEDLEY 1 - oh, but it's been a long time!!! Anyone who doesn't know this (probably half the choir!), just sing along!

WE WILL BE AT PARKLANDS ON THURSDAY ALLEDGEDLY - WATCH THIS SPACE!!!

Can't wait to see you all again on Thursday.

Andrew x
