CHORLEY PROGRAMME 4.6.24 AND CROSTON DETAILS

Hi Chorleyans

Thanks for a great session tonight.

Please bring all the same music with you next week, and we will go through the Croston programme as per the conditions of the concert - standing for 40 minutes. Please make sure your music is in the right order. And we will spend the rest of the session on Guys and Dolls and Don't Rain on my Parade.

Here are a few words from Philippa about Croston:

"We are singing at St Michaels and All Angels Church, Croston, on Saturday 6th July. Post code is PR269HA.

Parking will be available at Bishop Rawstorne Academy School. PR269HH. The car park opens at 10am and closes at 6pm. This means the gates will be shut (you will not be able to get access to your vehicle until Monday if you do not collect by 6pm).  Leave the car park on foot, turn right and follow the path round for about 150m . You will see a war memorial on your left at a sharp right-hand bend. Carry on forward and you will then see The Grapes pub on your right hand side. Directly opposite The Grapes is Church Street. Down Church Street is the church.

We will find space for your coats and bags in church.

Coffee Day is our village's walking day. The road will be closed from 1:15 until 3 o’clock, hence the reason we park at Bishop Rawstorne school. The walking day procession will be landing back at the church at around 2.45pm and we will be part of the entertainment in and around the church following the procession. There will be refreshments available in the old school ( tea, coffee and cakes) and entertainment for families and children. Please feel free to bring as many guests as you like. It is a big church and we like to sing to a good crowd. There is no charge for coming and joining in. We will be starting to sing between 3 and 3.15pm."

I will give further details re dress code and arrival time nearer the time.

In the meantime, see you next week.
