Hi Chorleyans
First of all, well sung tonight - and we finished Something Inside So Strong (with the help of a few extraneous sound effects!). I will send a programme email for next week's session after the concert.
Here are the details for your concert with Red Admiral Band on Saturday night:
VENUE - St Michael's High School, Astley Road, Chorley PR7 1RS (main hall).
PARKING - there are 3 driveways up to the school off Astley Road. If you use the first one please drive up to the basketball courts and park there, but you may have to be prepared to be blocked in by other choir/band members. The school is trying to keep the car park you will pass, nearest to the entrance, for audience members. Please do not use the second driveway. The third driveway leads to more parking, but is a little further to walk.
CHOIR ARRIVAL TIME 6.30-6.45PM, FOR A 7.30 START. We will need to put you in position before the audience arrives. End time depends on the length of the band sets but probably 9.30-10pm
DRESS CODE - GENTS - white shirts, red ties/bow ties, black trousers. LADIES - formal black evening wear with red accessories
Please ensure all music is in correct order in black folders or on iPADs.
Please do not talk between or during songs.
You will need to stand for both 20 minute sets.
During the band sets we will sit on the mezzanine level above the auditorium. If any of you can't manage the stairs you will be reserved a seat downstairs.
Belongings can be stored in the gym.
