Hi Maccers

Here is everything you need to know about our upcoming concert.

VENUE - ST ALBAN'S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 39 CHESTER ROAD, MACCLESFIELD SK11 8DJ

DATE - FRIDAY 16TH OCTOBER

TIME - 7.30PM START. Choir to arrive by 7.15pm at the latest please. Seats to the right hand side of the altar are reserved for choir before the concert and during the interval, and you can leave coats and belongings here. Please sit in your sections here so that it is easier for you to walk on. We will take our places at 7.20, men will walk on first, followed by lows, mids and then highs. It is a standing concert, unless you ask me for a chair.

DRESS CODE - Ladies: black, long, formal as you like, with silver sparkles. Men - white shirts, black trousers, silver ties or bow ties. Message from Annie - the church may be a little cool at the start of the evening!

PARKING - There is a small car park opposite the church adjacent to the church hall. Whalley Hayes car park is located at the bottom of Chester Rd from the church, opposite junction traffic lights. Blue badge holders can park on the road outside the church.

REFRESHMENTS available at the interval, and after the concert in the hall opposite the church.

LOOS - At the back of the church, and in the church hall opposite.

PERFORMANCE ETIQUETTE - Please have all your music in the right order. Only bring water and your music on to the stage area as space is limited. Please try to replicate where you stand at rehearsal, so please do not surge forward to the front row if you usually stand in the middle or at the back (unless the entire front row is absent, in which case, please DO move forward!). Please do not talk at all once you are on stage, either during the links or speeches, and Heaven forbid, during the songs/musical intros. Please be prepared to "cosy up" as space may be limited. Please look out for my speaker cable.

Chris Lord will not be able to be our MC for the night due to last minute personal circumstances, so, at short notice our Chorley choir MC, Neil Annadale will be stepping in, so lots of appreciation to him please for saving the day, and also to the Chorley gents for lending their support.

EACH HALF LASTS BETWEEN 30 AND 40 MINUTES, AND THE PROGRAMME IS AS FOLLOWS:
