CROSTON FOOD FESTIVAL 4.5.25

Hi Chorleyans

For those attending the food festival performance on Sunday, and  may want to bring family members along and stay for a bit afterwards, here are some details:

The address of the church is St. Michael and All Angels Church, Church St. Croston PR26 9HA.

There is no specific allocated parking at Bishop Rawstorne High School - the school will be locked. However, the roads into the village are not closed. You can risk driving in and just finding a space on the roads. The assumption is that most of the people attending will be people from the village and so no extra parking has been put on.

There are usually parking spaces on the street by the high school and there is also a small car park on the lane next to the GP surgery (PR26 9HJ). A good option would be to meet others at The Highfield restaurant (Southport Rd PR26 9JB), park there and travel into Croston in one vehicle.

Please be at the church for between 11 and 11.15am for a prompt 11.30 start.

DRESS CODE - those of you who have Magic Voices uniform (t shirts, sweat shirts, whatever), please wear these. If you haven't, please wear black with a splash of red - but NOT formal evening wear. This is an informal daytime gig!

As always, please have all your music in the right order and be prepared to stand for 35 minutes. If you need a chair, let me know. It will be loud next to the speaker! Please try to keep to your usual choir positions in as far as possible. Ladies, there will only be 4 gents, so listen carefully for cues!
