Hi Maccers
Thanks for a great session this week, everyone, and we finished Guys and Dolls! Now we have to go through it from the beginning, so that I can see whether we can include it in your St Michael's programme. Then I'll be in a position to finalise the running order. So please, any recapping you do before Wednesday would make my job much easier!
The St Michael's concert, as you know, is on Sat 19th October. I got a show of hands this week and the numbers weren't great, especially highs. Please can anyone who DIDN'T attend this week either email me OR leave a comment on the FB post only if you CAN attend. I don't really want to start importing members from the other choirs (although men are always an essential!) because this is YOUR concert! New members who have joined this term are welcome to come and watch this one, as there will be a lot of songs in this programme that you don't know and I don't want to put you in an uncomfortable situation. There will be plenty more performances coming up however, so don't worry.
Programme for next week is as follows:
MAMMA MIA MEDLEY
GUYS AND DOLLS - beginning to end, stopping and starting as needed
SOMETHING INSIDE SO STRONG - not sure as yet whether we can include this in your concert programme, but let's see how far we get!
MEMORY
Allow plenty of time to get access to the school next week as there will be temporary traffic lights at that turning.Â
