Happy Tuesday everyone!!!

This week, we're going to continue working on our two new songs:

Both are already starting to come together really nicely, so we'll keep building on those this week. 

YES... WE'RE STARTING CHRISTMAS MUSIC!!! 

I know it's only September, but our big Christmas Concert at St Peter's Church in Hale on Saturday 5th December will soon be here, so we're going to start gradually building our Christmas repertoire now.

Don't worry, we're not going full Christmas just yet! But by introducing a couple of Christmas songs each week alongside our normal repertoire, we'll have everything sounding fantastic by December.

CHRISTMAS AT ST PETER'S - 5TH DECEMBER

I'm really looking forward to this one! We're planning a beautiful hour-long Christmas concert at St Peter's, with hot drinks, mince pies and loads of festive atmosphere. I'm even going to see if we can create a bit of a candlelit feel inside the church... 

Christmas concerts tend to fill up really quickly, so tickets are now available if you'd like to invite friends and family along.

FANCY SINGING A SOLO?

We'll also have opportunities for some solos during our Christmas concert.

If you've ever fancied having a go, please don't be put off by the word AUDITION! It really is going to be a very simple and relaxed process.

From October, I'll be offering some little audition slots: Two slots from 7pm before choir One slot at 9pm after choir. 

All I'd like you to prepare is around 30 seconds to a minute of the best bit of a song you know really well. Ideally a Christmas song, or loosly related with musical theatre. 

At this stage, I just want to hear you sing something you're comfortable and confident with. 

If you're chosen for a solo, we'll then work out the right song for the concert together.
