Hi Apples

Well, that was a fun first session back! All those songs - some remembered, some, ahem, not quite! Well done for struggling through with "bank holiday numbers"!

As ever, next week we will be welcoming tasters to choir, so please be your usual wonderful, charming, well-behaved selves! I will try to place tasters next to "well established" members, so please, if you see them struggling with the score, do give them a hand, as we all know how confusing it can be the first time.

So your programme for next week is as follows:

DANCING QUEEN - a chance for you to show the tasters what you can do!

FROM NOW ON - a brand new song for everyone, from The Greatest Showman

COME WHAT MAY - another new one, from Moulin Rouge

ELECTRICITY (NOT Don't look back in Anger, as I mistakenly said) - another chance to show off!

Due to ongoing issues with my arm, please could I have some help unloading my gear from the car, as well as the usual choir stalwarts who set out the chairs, and my usual meeters and greeters for tasters. If you could be there for between 7 and 7.15, I'd really appreciate it. Many thanks to Rob Howell who helped me last week.

CALLING ALL GENTS - Macc have a concert at St Alban's Church (the one on the main road) on Friday 16th October at 7.30pm. 2 half hour sets with an interval in between (so finished by 9). If any of you are available to boost numbers, I would really appreciate it. Please could you reply to this or comment on Facebook if you are able to do it. Many thanks in advance.

See you next Monday.
