Hi everyone,

Just a quick correction to my last email.

Where it says "You Raise Me Up", that should actually read "You Will Be Found."

My spreadsheet decided to get a bit creative with a VLOOKUP and swapped the titles around for me!

Apologies for the confusion — the plan is still exactly the same, just with the correct song title.

Hi everyone,

Thank you for another really enjoyable rehearsal last night. I know we were missing quite a few people, but those of you who were there sang your hearts out and it was a really positive rehearsal.

A huge well done for getting all the way through Defying Gravity. It's sounding fantastic now and all the hard work is really paying off.

The Beatles Medley is also coming along nicely, and I promise you will all finally get the chance to sing Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da next week!

Mister Blue Sky sounded great once we sorted out the number of bars before the entry, and both Don't Stop Me Now and You'll Be in My Heart are also sounding really strong.

Plan for next week

Sing-through

Phantom of the Opera

Sing-through / polish

Rhythm of Life

You Will Be Found

California Dreaming

Focused work

Beatles Medley

With the Grand Central performance getting closer (we now have seven rehearsals before it), I'd really like us to finish learning the Beatles Medley over the next rehearsal or two so that we can then spend the remaining weeks just enjoying singing it and polishing everything for the performance.

Grand Central update

We are hoping to sing at Grand Central on Saturday 16th May, usually arriving by 10:45 for an 11:00 start, performing a 45-minute programme. Jane is kindly checking the details and confirming this with them – thank you Jane!

Thank you all again for your enthusiasm and hard work.

See you next Thursday!

Best wishes,

John
