Magic Voices Wilmslow and Hale - 29th September and 1st October

Hi everyone!! 😊

☕ WILMSLOW - TEA, COFFEE & SOCIAL FROM 7PM TONIGHT!

Before we get started tonight at Wilmslow, we'll have tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits from 7pm until 7.30pm, so come along early if you can!

Everyone is welcome. It's just a nice opportunity to grab a drink, have a chat and get to know some of the other people you sing alongside each week. 😊

😊 A QUICK NOTE TO HALE MEMBERS...

I also just wanted to say sorry again to everyone at Hale for having to miss last Thursday's session due to my illness.

We'll have a chat when we're together this Thursday and work out the best time to replace the session we lost, so don't worry - we'll make sure you get that rehearsal back.

Looking forward to seeing you all on Thursday! 😊

🎶 THIS WEEK'S PROGRAMME

First things first... here's what you need to bring this week!

We'll continue working on:

🎭 Come From Away Medley✨ When You Believe

And please also bring:

🎄 Fairytale of New York🎅 I Wish It Could Be Christmas Every Day🎄 Xmas Carol Medley

I'll bring some spare copies with me, so don't worry if you don't have that one yet.

That's all you need to bring this week! 😊

And don't forget, you're always welcome to come along to either session - or both if you fancy an extra sing! 🎶

🎄 OUR CHRISTMAS CONCERT SET LIST! 🎶

We're now properly getting stuck into preparations for our big Christmas Concert at St Peter's Church in Hale on Saturday 5th December.

Just as a quick reminder, here is our concert set list:

🎄 Winter Wonderland🎵 Dancing Through Life🎵 Somewhere Only We Know✨ O Holy Night🎭 Come From Away Medley🎵 You Raise Me Up🎅 I Wish It Could Be Christmas Every Day🎄 Fairytale of New York🔔 Jingle Bell Rock🎄 Xmas Carol Medley

This isn't the running order yet - it's simply so everyone knows exactly what we're working towards and can make sure they've got the music over the coming weeks.

You don't need to bring all of these to choir this week! Just bring the songs listed in this week's programme above. 😊

If you're someone who likes to do a bit of homework between sessions, you can start having a listen and doing some extra practice at home too.

🎤 SOLOS, READINGS & MORE...

If you'd like to audition for a solo, just book yourself in with Bob at Wilmslow or Helen at Hale. The audition process is really easy and relaxed!

I'd also be happy to include a couple of short, fun Christmas readings - or if you play a musical instrument and fancy performing something, I'd love to hear from you too.

Just send me a message or come and have a chat with me. 😊

We've still got plenty of time between now and 5th December and I think this is going to be a really lovely Christmas concert! 🎄✨

Can't wait to see you all soon!

See you tonight at Wilmslow!

Mike 🙂
