Hi everybody

Good to see many of you on Tuesday - we had a great sing!

Next week we'll continue to work on Seasons of Love and Anthem and, hopefully, get close to finishing them.

I know that some of you will be joining us again for the first time since the Easter break, so please note that this is the second song in the Rent medley on the MV website. If you're printing the choir score, you only need to print from page 6 (bar 41) to the end. The lyrics where we'll start are 'Five Hundred Twenty Five Thousand Six Hundred Minutes.'

Do check them out on the Magic Voices website (especially if you're not familiar with the songs) and - if you can - either download and print the music yourself and/or ask a friend! If you need me to bring you a copy, please can you let me know by Mon evening (4th May).

Performances

As we've discussed over the last couple of weeks, we're aiming for a Christmas concert this year in a church in the Yeovil area (ie Yeovil itself or surrounding villages/market towns). I've had suggestions for a couple of potential venues, but if you know of any that would be suitable (would need reasonable capacity, parking, heating and space for refreshments etc) please let me know. Ideally I'd like about 4 or 5 suggestions that I can pass on to Mike to explore further.

Additionally, it would also be good to perform at a more informal event/s this summer eg summer fairs, fetes, other community events etc. So, likewise, do let me know if you have any suggestions of anything you know that's happening. Ideally I think it would be best to aim for the end of June into July, after the half term.

Dates
