PROGRAMME EMAIL FOR MACC AND CHORLEY WEEK BEGINNING 16.9.24

Hi everyone!

What great sessions I've had with you all this week! And all of you new joiners are fitting in and amplifying the sound superbly!

Next week's programme looks like this, and, now that taster sessions are moreorless over, I've included some songs you will be singing for concerts this term - hopefully we will whizz through these:

DANCING QUEEN - running straight through

GUYS AND DOLLS - from the very beginning (new members, you will need to print off the whole medley now, as you just have from "If I were a bell"), and learning the final "Luck be a lady" reprise. I am hoping to include this in your concerts, but it does depend on how much time I need to spend on it this week.

SOMETHING INSIDE SO STRONG - we started working on this at the end of last term, so I will reprise what we've done, and then start the next section. This may not be ready for concerts this term, but will certainly be in future ones.

These last 3 are golden oldies and will probably be in our concert programmes this term.

I will ask for a show of hands for concert attendance next week.
