Hi Apples
Here is everything you need to know about your Stockton Heath concert.
DATE - SATURDAY 5TH JULY - 7.30PM
VENUE - ST THOMAS'S CHURCH, LONDON ROAD, STOCKTON HEATH WA4 6HJ
PARKING - no parking at the church, but there is The Forge Car Park behind (West Avenue WA4 6HW) - I believe there is now a charge.
TIMINGS - CHOIR ARRIVE 6.30PM, DOORS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC 7PM, CONCERT STARTS 7.30PM.
SEATING - you will all be in the Chancel area of the church and Phil and Linda Percival (Seating Monitors Exraordinaires!) will be on hand. Gents and Lows will sit in the choir stalls on the left, highs in choir stalls on the right, and middles on freestanding chairs in the middle. There will be space for 55 of you. If you decide at the last minute to attend when you have previously said that you're not attending, you may have to stand or bring your own seat!!! People in the stalls will have to angle yourselves to the front when you are singing to see Mike who will stand in front of the chancel steps - it's not ideal, but please try to make the best of it.
DRESS CODE - the usual Magic Voices evening wear please. Ladies - as formal as you like, black with a splash of red/red accessories. Gents - black trousers, white shirts, red ties/bowties - just the same as for Thelwall. No uniform for this concert please.
TICKETS - you have been sent links to buy tickets and I have posted the same on your Facebook page. Please do not contact me or Magic Voices about tickets. This event is being run by the Stockton Heath Festival. Their organisers will be manning the door, where I assume you will also be able to buy tickets on the night for family and friends.
PROGRAMME - exactly the same as Thelwall:

PART OF YOUR WORLD
ONE SHORT DAY

SET 2

WATERLOO (encore)
Please do your own vocal warm up before arriving. As usual, please have all your music in the correct order in black files or on iPADS. Please do not talk between songs when Chris Lord is speaking, or during the musical introductions - I know you all know this, but I keep having to say it because I keep seeing it happen! I want you to look as professional as possible up there please!
You have a great programme, which is very well prepared, and it's a beautiful venue with a hopefully lovely acoustic. I only wish I was there with you, but Mike will be a terrific stand in for me and I know you will do your absolute best for him. I look forward to seeing the video clips!
Please do not contact me on Friday 4th or Saturday 5th about the concert. I will be prostrate with my prostate in hospital!
Good luck and enjoy!
Andrew x
