A QUICK NOTE BEFORE WE BEGIN:

In a spectacular piece of timing, I’m moving house this weekend! 😊

I’ll still have access to my emails on my phone, but while I’m surrounded by boxes and attempting to work out where everything has gone, I’ll only be checking them intermittently.

Before emailing with a question, please read Emails 1 and 2 again, together with this email, as I’ve tried to explain every part of the process as clearly as possible.

I’ll be checking my emails occasionally throughout the weekend whenever I can, and I’ll also be available for approximately an hour before bookings open on Sunday. I’ll prioritise any genuine booking difficulties and will try to respond before 6pm.

The response to our Abbey Road plans has been absolutely incredible!

I honestly can't begin to tell you how much I have enjoyed reading all your emails and hearing just how excited so many of you are to take part. This is already shaping up to be a much larger and more ambitious project than what I originally thought!

• We will be creating a Magic Voices album.

• Andy is writing exclusive new musical arrangements especially for the project.

• Every group will receive a full two-hour recording session in Studio One.

Your arrival, time in Studio Two, briefing, warm-up and indoor and outdoor photographs will all take place before your recording session begins.

Each group will therefore spend more than three hours at Abbey Road altogether, including two full hours recording in Studio One.

This is a substantial professional recording experience.

Given the scale, cost and complexity of arranging something like this, we genuinely do not know whether Magic Voices will ever be able to offer this again.

Here is everything you need to know...

This email does not contain the booking link.

Email 4 of 4 will arrive at 6pm on Sunday and will contain the live link.

At the same time, the link will also be posted:

• In the Magic Voices Community Facebook groups

• In the Members Area, under Weekly Programme

THE BOOKING PROCESS IS VERY SIMPLE

We have deliberately designed the booking page to make the process as straightforward as possible, and should take only a few minutes.

There are just three main stages.

STEP 1 - TELL US WHO IS MAKING THE BOOKING PAYMENT (YOU)

The first section asks for the details of the person making the booking and setting up the Direct Debit.

This could be you, or it could be someone paying on your behalf.

STEP 2 - TELL US WHICH CHOIR MEMBER OR MEMBERS ARE TAKING PART

You will then enter the details of the Magic Voices member or members included in the booking.

This bit is important:

If you are making the payment and you are also taking part, please remember to enter your own details again as Member 1.

(So the first section tells us who is making the payment and the Member 1 section tells us who is taking part in the Abbey Road experience.)

If you are booking for more than one member, simply complete Member 1’s details and click:“+ Add another member”

You can then add the details of each additional member whose place you are paying for.

IMPORTANT - ONE BOOKING MEANS ONE PERSON IS PAYING

Everyone added to the same booking will be paid for from the same bank account.

The “+ Add another member” button adds another member’s place to the same booking.

It does not allow you to enter a different set of bank details for each person.

Only click “+ Add another member” if the person making the booking is happy to pay for that additional member (or multiple members) as well. For example, if you book for yourself and your husband, wife, partner, family member or friend, the person making the booking will pay for both places.

For two members, the payment would therefore be either:

• £270 paid in full, or...

• If you prefer to pay the £90 deposit for each member, there would be a payment of £180, followed by five monthly payments of £18.

If two members would each like to pay separately from their own bank accounts, they must complete two separate bookings.

YOU CAN CHOOSE HOW YOU WOULD LIKE TO PAY

You will be offered two payment choices:

OPTION 1

Pay the full £135 per member by Direct Debit.

OPTION 2

Pay an initial £90 per member by Direct Debit, followed by five monthly Direct Debit payments of £9 per member.

Both options add up to exactly the same total of £135 per member.

If you add more than one member to your booking, the page will automatically calculate the combined payment for everyone you have added.

All payments for that booking will be collected from the same bank account.

You will then continue to the secure Direct Debit setup. Your booking is only complete once you have:

• Entered all the required information

• Completed the secure Direct Debit setup

• Reached the booking confirmation page

Places will be allocated in the order completed bookings are received.

WHAT SHOULD I HAVE READY?

Before 6pm on Sunday, please make sure you have:

• The first name, last name, email address and choir of every member included in your booking

• The details of the person making the payment

• The bank account details that will be used to pay for everyone included in that booking

• Permission from anyone else you are including in your booking

• Decided whether you wish to pay £135 in full or £90 followed by five monthly payments of £9

• Confirmation that everyone included can currently keep both days of our first-choice weekend available

OUR FIRST-CHOICE WEEKEND

Our first-choice recording weekend is:

Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th June 2027

At this stage, everyone booking must be available on both days between 9.15am until 7pm.

(Times will be allocated once our booking is confirmed with Abbey Road and you will be given plenty of notice)

You are booking a place for the weekend.

You will not be choosing a particular day or recording session when you complete the form.

Abbey Road can accommodate a maximum of 800 Magic Voices members across five recording sessions. (2 on the Saturday and 3 on the Sunday) - That limit is not something we have created to make the opportunity feel exclusive. It is simply the maximum number of singers Abbey Road can accommodate.

WHAT IF WE DO NOT SECURE OUR FIRST-CHOICE WEEKEND?

As explained in Email 2, we must challenge an existing Abbey Road booking before our weekend can be confirmed.

If we do not secure our first-choice weekend, we will move to our next preferred weekend and contact everyone immediately.

If the alternative weekend still works for you, your booking will transfer across.

If the alternative weekend does not work for you, any payment you have made will be refunded in full.

Once Abbey Road has confirmed our booking, and your place has been secured for the confirmed weekend, payments will become non-refundable.

A FEW IMPORTANT REMINDERS

• The total cost is £135 per member.

• Travel and accommodation are not included.

• Places will be allocated in the order completed bookings are received.

• Places cannot be held in advance by email, phone, Facebook message or through your Musical Director.

WHAT IF I AM NOT CONFIDENT COMPLETING THE FORM?

The form is very straightforward but If you are not confident using online forms, please consider asking a trusted family member, friend or fellow choir member to sit with you and help you complete it.

Alternatively, someone else can include you in their own booking, provided they are also happy to pay for your place from their bank account.

Where possible, please contact me before Sunday rather than waiting until the booking page has opened.

Please remember that I cannot reserve or hold a place by email.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?

There is nothing to complete or pay today.

For now, please read this email carefully, gather the information you will need and make sure you are ready for 6pm on Sunday.

The response from members has already been extraordinary, and I have a feeling there will be a lot of people waiting when the booking page opens.

I really do not want anyone who has set their heart on being part of this to miss out because they were unsure what to do. So, if you have decided that you would love to join us at Abbey Road...Please be ready for 6pm on Sunday.
