I would like to chat with you this week about the possibility of postponing our Romiley Forum Concert.
This is why...
When we come back in January, we return on the 10th! This will be a taster session for many newcomers. As you know, we are quite low on Membership in Wilmslow and it would be great to boost our choir.
We have just done a fantastic concert in Congleton, at the Town Hall with the choir all amplified and a live band. It sounded stunning and I believe we deserve the same.
I know this is the second time I have postponed, but we would only get 3 weeks to rehearse. We have lots of new songs that we could include in the concert and I think that June would be a really good time to perform. This would also give our newcomers time to be involved too.
I think it has taken a while to find our feet again following Covid times but starting a fresh in the New Year along with some new members, this would be a great time to start to put together our Big concert.
What are your thoughts please?
