Hi Apples and Maccers! I'm writing to you about a wonderful concert opportunity for you all next summer! Some of you may have seen a mysterious entry on the website's concerts page - "A Night at the Musicals - Wythenshawe Forum" on Saturday 5th June. Yes folks, this is a joint concert, not just for Macc and Appleton, but also combining with Ged's two choirs at Cheadle and Congleton. This will be a MASSIVE event, which will be conducted by us both, accompanied by a live band!

Hi Maccers Thanks for a great session this week, and a big welcome to all our new joiners. You will find all music available to print off or download in the Members' Area on the website, plus all tracks for every song. Please use the full choir score, as it is much easier to follow than just your own part. And it is really useful to bring something to write with to the sessions, for correcting the odd typo and writing in my numerous ramblings! Tickets are on sale for St Alban

Hi Maccers Thanks for a great session this week and a big welcome to new joiners. The new songs are coming on a treat, but let's work a little more on your St Albans set now. Your programme for next week is as follows: BE OUR GUEST - this needs a bit of tidying up. It's the first song on your St Albans programme, so it needs to impress! Please try and revise it with the tracks on your own before next week. COME WHAT MAY THRILLER MEDLEY - please try and have a listen to this t

Hi Maccers Still buzzing from last night's first session back! Well done - you really raised the roof, and what a difference when we have almost full membership present! Next week's programme looks like this: BE OUR GUEST COME WHAT MAY FROM NOW ON DON'T LOOK BACK IN ANGER - yes I mean it this time! Next week I will take numbers for St Alban's. This is a regular gig we do in a beautiful church in Macclesfie

Welcome back to choir, everyone! I hope you have all had a lovely summer, and some relaxing and joyful holidays. I hope you are all looking forward to getting back to choir - I've missed you all! As ever, next week we will be welcoming tasters to choir, so please be your usual wonderful charming, well-behaved selves! I will try to place tasters next to "well established" members, so please, if you see them struggling with the score, do give them a hand, as we all know how con

Hi Maccers and Chorleyans Thanks for a great week of singing, and we finished BE OUR GUEST! If you get the chance to have a listen to those really awkward harmonies at the end of the song, that would be really helpful for next week. And we've nearly finished THRILLER! Next week will be your final session before the summer break. Maccers, you return on Wednesday 2nd September, and Chorleyans on Thursday 3rd September. There will be new songs and tasters! In the meantime, here

Hi everyone, I want to ask you a favour. Can we please not use smart phones during the session. I find it very distracting and it makes it hard for me to teach you and give you the attention you all deserve. So, if we could make that a general rule from now on, I would really appreciate it. Thank you! Andrew Magic Voices 3 Alder Grove, Chapel En Le Frith United Kingdom

Hi Maccers The Shine a Light event on Saturday 11th is cancelled due to lack of participating members. Next week, our programme will be as follows: ELTON JOHN MEDLEY - been a while! BE OUR GUEST THRILLER DON'T RAIN ON MY PARADE - again, been a while! See you next week. Andrew x Magic Voices 3 Alder Grove, Chapel En Le Frith United Kingdom

THIS IS REALLY IMPORTANT, SO PLEASE READ TO THE END AND RESPOND BEFORE THE END OF TODAY. I am considering cancelling our performance at the SHINE A LIGHT FESTIVAL in Victoria Park next Saturday 11th July. The numbers I took last night of those wanting to participate were extremely disappointing and a performance would not be viable. Having said that, there were a lot of absentees last night. So, if you were NOT at rehearsal last night, but CAN do the performance, PLEASE RESPO

CALLING ALL LOWS AND GENTS!!! Can any of LOWS AND GENTS help swell the numbers at a Chorley gig on Saturday please? The songs are all ones you know and are singing at your own gigs. It's a 45 minute set which starts at 3.15pm in a beautiful church in Croston near Leyland. Postcode is PR26 9HA. This is a message from Tony Gillam (Appleton) who is helping to organise the Disability Awareness Day at Walton Hall and Gardens on Sunday 12th July, regarding parking passes. Next Monday (29th) we'll start allocating parking passes - limited space, so try to fill a vehicle. Many thanks. This is a map for the DAD event at Walton Hall Gardens. We're on at 1.30pm and will have to get in place quickly - only 5 minutes allowed after previous performer. The Arts Marquee is at the
